Last week I sent out a survey and it seems like there are a ton of people who would like to see the God First Business Network resume so we are in the process of working behind the scenes to make that happen. We could still use your feedback on what that might look like

Right now it looks like many people would like the main group to meet 1 time per month, and we are thinking about having some smaller groups meet mid month to supply additional networking opportunities by region.

All in all I am very excited that we may be ready to fire this back up.

For all the corporate scandals, underhanded deals, back dating of options, etc. Just like in any field it takes only a few bad apples to spoil the name of the lot. While in reality the majority of corporate CEO’s are doing incredible things to provide jobs, increase regional economic development, and make a real difference in the community through a variety of different projects.

That being said, with are heart for God First Business I am conducting a little experiment by writing all of Jacksonville’s leading CEO’s just to let them know that they are valued. That their efforts for business and community development are to be commended and appreciated.

I hope that God uses those simple pieces of paper to touch their hearts and fire them up towards another great year.

In many ways, our regions success is tied to those folks at the top of these companies. Their responsibility is enormous.

So as funny as this might sound, I encourage you to pray for the CEO’s in our area.
