The Why Wait Till Sunday kick-off was a huge success. Pastor Bryan brought forth an incredible word and a number of people gave their lives to Christ. We had our largest night to date with some 308 people in attendance.
I have to start by thanking the volunteers. You all are simply incredible. Showing up as early as 1 or 2pm and staying till past 10pm to make sure every one of our 20+ visiting families (maybe more, we completely ran out of guest packets) felt loved, welcomed, greeted and encouraged to come back to experience the love of Christ.
DJ Will brought the house down with the after party and had people line dancing. Charise and Elementz did an incredible job not only rapping, but her aucistic set in the cafe was just wonderful.
Words can not begin to express the gratitude that Mary Jo and I, Bryan and Renee have for all of those who come along side of us to make church happen. You are all an incredible blessing. Keep on making a difference for God!

Just left a Why Wait Until Sunday Planning Meeting and I am and will forever be grateful to God for all the awesome people he puts in our midst.
As a small church He positioned us incredibly with the right people to be able to pull off a full blown commercial (Don), the right people to pull off the printing (Harry), the right people to pull off the graphics (Kevin and Bryan), and the right creative minds to be able to pull off this event and the weeks that follow with excellence as well.
Forgive me if I leave a name out. but I stand in awe of even young people like Jenna Brut who helped schedule and pull off having different musical artists for the next 8 weeks of various styles. Darius and Jessie who pulled off props. Mary Jo’s brother for food.
Mary Jo, Pam, Bryan, Renee, Sam – and the list goes on and on. Oh don’t forget Adam with the ICEE’s.
I know I will forget names – but to all you faithful servants of God – you are incredible, incredible, incredible and I love you dearly!

We had an awesome Easter Weekend at Journey Church. For the first time in our brief church history we did 2 services one on Saturday night followed by a suprisingly popular Easter Sunrise Service the next morning.
We kicked off a new series "Fully Devoted and Unstoppable" as an encouragement to those who believe to take their faith to the next level and to those who might give their lives to the Lord it is an opportunity to quickly engage in their faith and start off on the right track.
We announced the launch of our new "Engage" Spiritual growth track and would like to encourage everyone to participate. Click here for more information or to register.

Tonight we kicked off a new series entitled – Just walk across the room – inspired by the book with the same name by Pastor Bill Hybles. It is a series about sharing our faith in light of the great commission.
I was very excited to kick it off tonight. We highlighted what the next few months are going to look like leading into April 12th’s series "Why wait till Sunday". by challenging people to start to lay down the air cover of prayer cover in advance of believing God for a mighty outpouring. We are believing God for an anointing of salvations where every single week we will see people come to know Jesus. We challenged people to Fast on Tuesdays during this series and leading up to April 12th.
I believe with all my heart that God is going to honor this by us seeing a mighty outpouring. God has been showing up, and man, I can’t even imagine what is going to happen next.
We started our series by reflecting back to the people who made a difference in our lives and who were instrumental in leading us to faith in Christ, we then had everyone come to the front and we had pre-stamped THANK YOU cards and encouraged the congregation to mail someone who helped them come to faith a thank you card to honor the fact that someone had the courage to walk across the room to them.
My prayer is that this will stir us to have the boldness to walk across the room and share our faith with others as well.
Have a blessed night.
