Prayer Focus: Direction, Guidance, Dreams, and Visions

Scripture: Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.

Thoughts: As we start the New Year it’s important that we are following God’s path for our lives and not just our own. Pray that God shows you the way you should go by opening and closing the appropriate doors and by giving you the courage to walk through the ones you should.

Prayer Focus: Pray for church leaders

Scripture: Hebrews 13:20-21 20 Now may the God of peace who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood – 21 may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you * through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.

Thoughts: All pastors and church leaders need prayer. Sometimes the weight of ministry can be overwhelming. It can steal the joy and freshness of a pastors calling. Fast and pray for protection, renewed joy, increased anointing and blessing for all of our pastors and church leaders.

Prayer Focus: Pray that people would be excited about prayer

Scripture: Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Thoughts: Pray that God would birth a desire in the hearts of believers to earnestly seek Him in prayer. Pray that God would raise up houses of prayer like IHOP.org. Pray that God would raise up prayer missionaries and intercessors inside of the church.

Prayer Focus: Giving /Generosity

Scripture: Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

Thoughts: Pray that people would put God 1st in their finances. That they would trust and take God at His word when He challenges them to worship Him with their finances. Might God release a heavenly outpouring of resource into the laps of believers that we might fund the end time harvest.

Prayer Focus: Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

Scripture: Acts 2:17 In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions,your old men will dream dreams.

Thoughts: Pray that believers would seek the supernatural gifts of God and that God would pour them out liberally in our day and age. that we might see people healed, delivered, and set free. Lord pour out your spirit on all people.
