A good friend – experiencing Great loss.

Image001 I wanted to take a moment to put things into perspective and honor a great family in Clay County. This week the Knepper family suffered the tragic loss of their wonderful daughter in an auto accident. I have known Randy now for maybe 6 months. He has been in the area for a little over a year, but his impact in the county has been very wide spread. The family is just an awesome testament to God. Randy serves as the President of Heritage Bank and has helped finance a number of churches and church building projects in the area. At one time not too long ago he wowed me by dropping by the office and bringing me a bible as a gift. What a heart after God and the things of God.

Please join in by praying for the Knepper family during this very difficult time in their lives.  Knepper family, our hearts go out to you!

  1. My name is Terry Gilmour, and I am a member of First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Chris Howell and his family are part of our church family, and we are also grieving the loss of Joanna on behalf of Chris. As we try to help him through this absolutely terrible time in his life, I was wondering if you or any of Joanna’s close friends might know of some special way we could honor Joanna’s life on behalf of Chris. I was thinking about some sort of special garden area where we could plant a tree and have a stone commemmorating the years of her life on earth and the knowledge of her eternal future of peace and rest with God. Do you or any of her friends know of a special tree or type of flowers, etc. that she enjoyed, or something special along those lines for a lasting memorial?
We join you in your prayers for the Knepper family in the loss of their beautiful young lady, and we also mourn with the Howells in their great loss. God Bless You all for your kind words and inspirational prayers.
