In watching world events I am not scared and am not trying to generate fear, but I sense that it is time for God’s people to prepare.

Why? There is a potential perfect economic storm on the horizon that the mainstream media is continuing to down

Well I have been studying the topic for months and article after article is affirming some trends:

1) World food prices and a world food shortage: http://www.fao.org/worldfoodsituation/FoodPricesIndex/en/  - Generally speaking, the world food supply is on the edge. One more major event and people in mass globally will not be able to afford food. We are already seeing riots in india, egypt, and other places as a result of this. Domestic food prices have risen or are slated to rise up to 30% from last year to this year.

2) Oil Prices: Just peaked above $100 per barrel threatening the already fragile US Economy Recovery. Sustained prices in the $100 level will stall any growth. $120-$150 could cause chaos.

3) Debt levels – out of control

4) local, state, and federal cutbacks – will flood the US economy with more unemployment as soon as all of the funny money runs out. We are already seeing mass demonstrations in Wisconsin, and smaller ones in our own back yard in Clay County. This is only the begining.

6) Global forces seeking to strip the dollar as the world reserve currency – this big, real big! I don’t have time to explain why, but if this happens the US economy would be devastated.

7) Mid-East Unrest and Israel – More to come.
