I’ve been silent, but been thinking…

There is so much going on in my head lately. Issues of faith, family, business, capital campaigns, multi-site launches, what does one write about?

Maybe all of the above. I’ve been really searching my heart lately, the constant tug at my heart is, Lord I want to do something great for you and I want to do it in such a way that there are no casualties along the way. Not my family, not one congregant, not one volunteer.

But in ministry it does at times seem a tough balance. You can’t control things like deaths or sickness much less more trivial things that pop up throughout the day needing attention. Try to get a night out with the family, and boom, somethings bound to happen to distrupt it. That seems to be how the devil works. :(

In essence, I just want to be all the man that Jesus has called me to be. I want to be a wonderful loving husband, father, friend, and Pastor, but these darn character defect things continue to pop up from time to time to drive me crazy. :)

Lord, may the people of Celebration Church be world changers for you, and may we do it in such a way that nobody gets left behind, so that we see the great fruit of many people getting saved, healed, delivered, set free, and set on fire for you without having any casualties!

Amen.

  1. Thank you Eric. You are more than I think you give yourself credit for. You and MaryJo have made such a HUGE impact in my life and I thank you both for the joy that you have brought to it.
