Linking your Spirit with His Spirit

We have just concluded a series at Journey Church entitled “The Search for Life”
In it, we have discussed how wounded souls can recover and be empowered to win through and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Let me leave you with a few keys to linking your spirit with His.
1. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
Romans 1:21 they did not honor him as God..
Humbling ourselves and acknowledging his strength and power is a first step towards intimacy.
2. Cultivate a lifestyle of obedience to and love of God .
Romans 1:21. Give thanks to God
3. Savor the presence of God in your life
Cultivate the intimacy by deciding on a lifestyle that puts a priority on soaking and resting in his presence.
Music and worship create a atmosphere of intimacy.
Prayer and communion can deepen that intimacy.
Daily devotions remind us of the words and promises of our daddy who loves us.
Let the truth of Gods word bring healing to the wounds you have experienced in life.
The ultimate healing is found that that intimacy with him.
As you worship, stand in obedience, and spend time with Jesus your wounds will be healed.
As you spend time in that kind of atmosphere you will have the power to do right.
Submit your heart to the King of Kings. He will never fail you and He will never leave you or forsake you! Trust in Him! He will give you the Power to Win!
Thank you for the reminder and tips — it’s not just going through the process of reading devotionals and going to church, but we are to continuously seek an intimate, loving, personal, one-on-one relationship with our loving Father. He is a personal God! Love it.
