Prayer Focus: Missions

Scripture: Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Thoughts: Pray that God would continue to raise up missionaries who would spread the good news to all the ends of the earth. Pray that even in the United States people would see themselves as missionaries in their own back yards. Pray especially for those who find themselves in countries where the gospel is not allowed to be shared freely.

   I think we need to rely on each other more than I ever imagine in our live time. Let Christianity be who we rely on not our goverments.

   We are all missionaries, everyday, not just when the church is planning a “mission trip” Matthew 28, 19 does not say Therefore go ” if you want” It says ” Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
   Amen to your thoughts there.
