Weekend Re-Cap

It was a busy weekend for the Jaffe family, but it was one of those weekends that is so meaningful.
Yesterday we woke up early and went up to Wolfson/Baptist Medical center to visit Anya Smith and the Smith family. Anya is a beautiful 5 year old girl who has some real bad pneumonia, but is starting to feel better now. We continue to pray for her. After that we went and met 30 of the most wonderful friends/volunteers for http://www.electjaffe.com who helped us canvas neighborhoods to get Petitions signed.
After that, a short break and then straight up to Saturday night service. It was rocking last night one of our biggest saturdays ever with 233 in attendance at that service and 2 wonderful people making decisions to turn their lives over to Christ. God moved big time and the altars were full as we praying for physical healings.
This morning was off the chain as well with people getting saved in each service and bringing us to a record attendance of 775. I continue to stand in awe of God and all He is doing in the life of Journeychurch.org
After service Pastor Bryan and I went to CJ’s “Coming of Age/Man of Honor” ceremony. I had never been to one before and really enjoyed it. We cut out of there a little early so we could pick up Baby Briley this afternoon. It’s been a fun afternoon hanging out with her.
Then to top it off. Had a Skype video chat session with my mom and dad. Wow. I can’t believe how good they are doing on the computer – especially as old as they are.
Just kidding mom and dad..
We love you guys.
All in all a great weekend – looking forward to working at the Marks Gray Law Firm tomorrow. I am so thankful for the provision they have given to my family and I over the past 3 years. Amazing, amazing group of people there and I am grateful for them.
